My Laziness

Ages since I posted any blog on this space. My laziness is certain to get some awards if there are some awards for lethargy.

Anyways, new mantra: try to post something once a month. Something objective of course, unlike this one. Let's see how soon this plan will fail

Koshish

काम की जद्द-ओ-जेहद में कुछ पल चुराने की कोशिश,

कुछ देर ही सही तेरे पास आने की कोशिश;

Morning Blues!!!!!!

I will never know the time when I realized that I'm at my best at night. I feel as fresh as a bird at 2am. I have to force myself to sleep at 4am and being up all night is as natural to me as rising to the sun.
Every morning, its same ordeal of dragging myself up the bed and wishing for those 5 more mins sleep. If only I can come to office at 2pm. Being in a role as of client interaction, I anyways don't have much to do before that.

All of my friends are so sure abt my late sleeping habit, they they will text/call me at any give time of night. Not that it bothers me. What does, is that some get offended when I don't reply back in case I'm sleeping. Well its hard to reply to a text at 4:30 in the morning on a office night.

What amazes me even more is the ability of some of my friends, who are very much at ease with sleeping less. Back in MBA, me and my gf used to talk till wee hours of night and without fail she used to attend every morning session which I used to attned only for the second halves (if they are of marketing) after my friends have pryed me out of the bed with a crowbar. Even now one of my friend texts me at 5am and by the time it is 10am another text will come asking some random question or some random msg.

How can ppl sleep so less and u can't even tell it by looking at them. Looking fresh as always. If anyone sees me right now, he can bet anything that I'm sleepy. I wish, I will have their secret someday.

PS - I'm giving a serious thought of joining some govt dept, atleast I'll be able to come late and even sleep in office :D

Meanings : -
तिशनगी - thirst, pyaas ; मह - wine, sharaab ; अश्क - tears, aanso ; पैदाहम - clothes, kapde

1st Poem I wrote in 5th Class

This is my first ever poem, a small 6 lines on letter box... still remember it :)

Letterbox

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks God for Music!!!!

This post is a very feeble attempt from my side to try to explain how much the music meant to me. I’m sure everyone love music, I mean seriously who wouldn’t?

Well, to me, it is soothing, exciting, nostalgic, funny, and angry and all the other emotions I can probably think and that is the best part about music. There is always a piece available for every mood you can have. You can listen to music for any mood of yours and unlike reading a good book or watching a good movie or trying other things like eating or shopping; music can get back you on track within 5 mins.

Music alone is great and when it is mixed with good lyrics such a powerful potion is created that everyone just gives in to it. Then there are so many genres, language and styles to listen to. Rock, pop, old songs, bollywood, regional, rap, hip-hop, country, classical – it’s like reading a list of items in a buffet and cursing yourself for having just 1 stomach.

Well I can go on and on and on about this subject, but the simple and basic conclusion is summed up best in the title itself, seriously you needn’t have to read the blog also, I’m thankful for the music and always remember the words of Albus Dumbledore, late Headmaster of Hogwarts, when I listen to it – “Ah Music! A Magic beyond all we do here.”

My First Relationship Advice!!!

Innocent starting: I never had this inkling that I would be helping people in their relationship problems. Study problems yes, game tips ok, discussion on subjects like music, movies and others sure why not, but tips on how to make your gf/bf happy and sort problems out. NEVER!!!! By X class, I wasn’t interested in girls anyways, well except 1, which my over practical Virgo self told me is just infatuation imposed on me by all the silly notions shown in movies :O . Sounds heavy, doesn’t it :D

Well it started in class IX anyways; one of my junior and a good friend was having an affair with a girl who was his Jr, if I remember correctly. Yeah kids start early, now stop acting shocked. My expertise till that time was to crack jokes, play pranks, enjoy and entertain. So 1 day, I saw that girl a little upset and without even thinking that she might feel bad I started teasing her with comments. I can sense some soft hearted ppl saying Tch tch, but hey not everyone is perfect especially if that every1 is me.

Well, next thing you know she was looking at me and saying, “Bhaiya, aap hi batao, mein kya karoon. Wo har time mujhse gussa kyun rehta hai. Isme meri kya galti hai.” First thing first, it hurts when a girl calls you bhaiya. Moving on, I was speechless for a moment by this turn of events and then I realized that maybe because of some of my comments, she had figured out that I know the reason of tiff between the lovers. I honestly had no clue, but here kicked in one of my weaknesses. I can’t see a girl sad, sucker for that damsel in the distress stuff you say, well yeah kinda. :D

Solution Offering: So I started talking to her, and within few minutes was aware that it is miscommunication, teenager ego and stupidity in equal proportions which is causing this whole rift. Needless to say that next day I confronted our Young Romeo and had a word with him explaining him the young Juliet’s side of story (Juliet was actually 13 when she died) and at the same time sympathizing with him also. He promised to have a word with her.

Outcome: Well, things did turn out pretty well, as I hoped. All was well in love nest, though how long the relationship actually lasted, I have no idea. I left that school in Xth. But that did give me a reputation of fixer and a deep insight in the minds of girls and guys in relationship which actually was a great help when I had some of my own. :D
